Resetting Visual Studio 2012 Experimental Instance (by Kzu)

I have recently came across with this excellent post written by my friend Daniel Cazzulino (aka Kzu) in where he explains how to completely clean up the VSEI and reset it to its “factory” state.

The post talks about VS2010 but it perfectly run on VS2012. Just turn “10.0Exp*” into “11.0Exp*” and run “Reset the Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Experimental instance” instead of the 2010 indicated at point 6.

It’s extremely helpful when you are dealing with the VSEI using MEF or multiple VSIX in take one step forward instead of just dropping the Extension folder for the VSEI.

Enjoy!

Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything.
However think about if you added some great photos or video clips to give your posts more,
“pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and videos, this website could definitely be
one of the most beneficial in its niche. Excellent blog!
